Mark Stockman is an Associate Professor of Information Technology at the University of Cincinnati where he has taught for eight years.  His specialties are systems (Linux, Windows, OSX), security/forensics, and data center operations (storage/virtualization).  Prior to teaching he worked in industry in various IT functions (system administration, database management, desktop support, application development, web designer, project/team management).  He is also currently chair of the Association for Computing Machinery’s (ACM) Special Interest Group for IT Education (SIGITE), a group of IT faculty focussed on building the new academic discipline of information technology.
